Retford Athletic Club is excited to bring you the Osberton Chase 5K, a scenic off-road race through the stunning grounds of the Osberton Estate.

Taking place as part of the Aspen Cooling Osberton International Horse Trials, this is much more than your usual Sunday morning 5K. You'll get the chance to run through this fantastic private estate while enjoying the atmosphere of one of the area's major equestrian events.

Whether you're chasing a quick 5K, taking on your first trail race or simply fancy running somewhere a little different, the Osberton Chase is open to runners of all abilities.

• Venue: Osberton Estate, near Retford, Nottinghamshire

• Terrain: Mainly off-road / trail

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Entry: £10 UKA affiliated / £12 unaffiliated

A 5K with a difference

The route takes runners through the beautiful Osberton Estate on a predominantly off-road course. Expect a proper countryside 5K with a mixture of tracks, trails and estate paths.

The event takes place alongside the Aspen Cooling Osberton International Horse Trials, giving the race a unique setting and atmosphere.

There will be no horses on the 5K course while the race is taking place, with the running route managed separately from the equestrian competition.

Who can enter?

The Osberton Chase is suitable for runners aged 12 and over.

You don't need to be a member of a running club and you certainly don't need to be an experienced trail runner. Whether you're racing it, jogging with friends or simply looking for an enjoyable 5K in a fantastic location, we'd love to see you there.

As this is an off-road event, the terrain may be uneven, muddy or slippery depending on the weather, so please choose appropriate footwear.
