Welcome to the Retford Half Marathon and Family Fun Run,  one of Nottinghamshire’s most popular and well-supported running events. Proudly organised by Retford Athletic Club, this fast, fairly flat and friendly race attracts runners from across the region and beyond.

Whether you’re an experienced athlete chasing a new personal best, training for a spring marathon, or taking on your first ever half marathon, you’ll find a warm welcome and fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.

Starting and finishing at Retford Oaks Academy, the course is known for being fairly quick, scenic and perfectly suited to runners of all abilities. Alongside the main race, our Family Fun Run gives everyone the chance to get involved, with medals for all finishers and plenty of smiles along the way.
