EASTER weekend
Ross Howard has a farm in a beautiful part of the Lake District near Ulverston and he has made an open invitation to any members, family and friends of Retford AC to go up for all or part of the Easter weekend starting Good Friday 18th April. There will be walking, kayaking, biking, swimming, running, lots of socialising and BBQing. We will be there for four days and are taking the van. There is lots of room for tents and there are toilets and luxury showers in one of the barns. Everybody will be made very welcome and if you want to come please let Steve or I know as soon as possible.

Ten Pin Bowling and Pizza evening
Ken Neal is organising a Ten Pin Bowling evening on Wednesday 26th March - two games followed by pizza. Please put your names down on the notice in the pavilion at Oaklands if you want to come.

Charmian and Steve will host another Mince Pie and Mulled Wine run at 10am on Saturday 4th January. Runners or bikers welcome for a steady leg stretch ahead of the first XC at Killamarsh the following day. Just let Charmian or Steve know if you plan to come so that there are enough mince pies to go around.

There will be unofficial Christmas drinks on Friday the 20th of December meet in weatherspoons at 8:30 then into town for those who choose.

Many thanks to Andy Kinsley for organising the Senior Dinner and Presentation Evening at the Deli and Dine.  A great night was had by all and it was good to see so many athletes collecting their awards for the 2013 season, most notably far more ladies than in recent years.  Let's build on this success and make 2014 even better starting with the inter club cross country series.
